MEET THE OWNERS
Robert Leiviska - Owner / President
Robert began his machining career in 1967 in California at G.L. Collins. After 8 years at G. L. Collins, He and his family moved back to the Aitkin area in 1975. By 1982 he secured a high-level management position at a large machine and manufacturing firm. Responsible for training employees on new, cutting edge machinery, all shop operations and overseeing production management, Bob has come to know every facet of the production machining industry from the ground up. At Aitkin Machine & Manufacturing, Bob handles the majority of milling production, welding, quality control, customer relations and quotes. You can trust in his 47 years of experience to produce accurate, quality custom parts while experiencing unmatched customer service.
Jim Leiviska - Co-owner / Secretary
With over 26 years machine experience, Jim began his CNC machining career while still in High School. He worked part time for a local machine company until he graduated High School in 1990 when his career took him to a full time position. Jim does much of the lathe work for Aitkin Machine & Manufacturing.
Travis Leiviska - Co-owner / Vice President
Travis began machining part-time in High School until he graduated from Aitkin in 2000 then secured a full-time position working alongside his dad, Robert and brother, Jim. Travis produces a significant amount of milling work at Aitkin Machine along with customer relations.
